The Bad Reichenhall local history curator and town archivist Dr Johannes Lang summarised the history of the Predigtstuhlbahn conscientiously and entertainingly in his book “Drahtseile zum Himmel”. The book is available at the ticket counter of the Predigtstuhlbahn.

Closed from April 8th to May 3th due to the spring revision of the cable car and gastronomy.

From May 4th summer-season.
