Since March 2014, the unique mountain restaurant with coffee terrace has been welcoming its guests in new splendor and in the charm of a bygone era. Experience the view from the legendary fireplace room and feel transported to another time in this ambiance. Because like the Predigtstuhlbahn, our mountain restaurant is under monument protection.

The mountain restaurant is located directly in the mountain station and can be easily reached by train.

We do not require a deposit. However, to facilitate our planning and ideal arrangement, we kindly ask you to adhere to the number of guests you have indicated. Last-minute cancellations result in a financial burden for us, which we will offset with a reasonable but unavoidable no-show fee of 30% of the event price. We ask for your understanding in this matter. This fee will be waived if the cancellation is made 4 days before the event starts. In the case of a change in the number of guests, a brief notification up to 4 days before the event is sufficient. In the case of illness, the no-show fee will be waived upon presentation of a medical certificate.
If you decide to participate in the event at short notice, we will of course do our best, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a reservation.
Predigtstuhlbahn GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right, in the event of no-shows without cancellation or if fewer guests attend the event than indicated above and the cancellation/reduction is not reported at least 4 days before the event, to charge a no-show fee of 30% of the event price per no-show person to my above-mentioned address.

Autumn maintenance

Dear guests,

during our autumn maintenance period from November 10 to December 18, 2025, the cable car and restaurants will be closed.

We will start the winter season on December 19, 2025.

From then on, our cable car and restaurants will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Fall maintenance

Our maintenance will take place from November 4th 2024 to December 13th 2024 inclusive. The cable car and restaurant will be closed during this period.

Vouchers can be purchased at the cashier’s desk from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, during the maintenance period.

Spring maintenance

The cable car and restaurant will be closed from May 5th to May 22th, 2025 due to maintenance work.

Vouchers can be purchased at the ticket office during the revision period from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

 

Starting from May 23rd, we will begin the summer season.

Our daily operation will be as follows: the first ascent to the mountain at 9:00 AM and the last descent back down at 6:00 PM.

The alpine hut is open daily during the summer season. The mountain restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
